Personalized Learning with My BrainPOP
BrainPOP has long been a favorite teaching tool of educators and now, with the added features of My BrainPOP, students are able to interactively show what they’ve learned from a BrainPOP video. My BrainPOP allows students to make movies and build concept maps as a learning response. Make-a-movie provides students the ability to build frames using BrainPOP images, animations and sound. Make-a-map is a concept mapping tool that invites students to use images, vocabulary and movie clips to build a graphic organizer. Both are an excellent way for educators to personalize student learning and assess the students’ understanding of key subject-area concepts. Attendees will be introduced to the features of My BrainPOP and will enjoy hands-on experience building a BrainPOP map and movie. This workshop is designed for intermediate-level educators (Gr. 4-8) and is applicable in the subject areas of STEM, Social Studies, English, Health, Arts and Music.  "At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to make a movie using the My BrainPOP response tool. At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to build a concept map using the My BrainPOP response tool. "
