"Social media has a starring role in our lives and in the lives of our students today. From Instagram to Tumblr, and Twitter to Facebook, millions of digital thoughts flow through the internet every day. Many teachers have discovered that social media can create an environment for them to connect, question, wonder, read, share and support other educators. So my question is this: Why are teachers asking Google for a ""Slope Activity"", ""Surface Area Project,"" or ""_______<---(insert any math topic) Assignment""? Why are we not asking the thousands of math teachers who are teaching the same content that we are? If you are someone who has been curious about using Twitter to grow your Professional Learning Network or engage in a Professional Learning Community, now is the time! " "1.
