Come explore strategies for increasing student engagement in elementary mathematics by going deeper with problems. Quality is better than quantity. We will explore how to use district provided resources to “pull lessons off the page," and experience new ways to engage students through questioning, having students consider real-world situations and reason through mathematical models, which is the essence of real math.
