Math tools...how do I use them to support the process standards and the journey students must take from concrete to representational to abstract?  Come 'fool around" with math tools and develop your skills for supporting the use of tools with students.  During the sessions we focus on problems that continue to be difficult for our students on end of the year assessments.  This session will make strong connections to Universal Design and SPED accommodations.

Participants will be exposed to numerous math tools that are available for supporting math story problems.
Participants will use math tools to represent and solve story problems for their respective grade levels.
Participants will leave with mentor examples of this process for their respective grade levels.
